about us.

Zen Support offers support that's reliable, caring, and goal-focused. We show up on time, go above and beyond, and foster real connections — helping you do the same in your community.

Our team is compassionate, fun, and thoughtful, with many having been with us since day one. We keep our team happy, and that keeps our participants happy. It's that simple.

our story.

Rachel joined the disability industry in 2009 at just 20 years old. After working across WA and Queensland, she saw a better way to do things — and when the NDIS rolled out in Queensland in 2016, she backed herself and started Zen Support.

Word spread fast. Rachel's genuine care and no-fuss approach stood out. She went on to found the Sunshine Coast Support Worker Network and, in 2022, The Ability Collective — a space for people to connect, grow, and participate on their own terms.

Today, Zen Support has a SIL home, an ILO home, and many long-term community access participants. Rachel still works shifts every week. We're a small, independent provider — and we're proud of it.

values.

Trust & Reliability – We do what we say we will. We show up on time, provide consistent support, and build strong, lasting relationships.

Genuine Care & Strong Team Culture – We care deeply about the people we support and the team behind them. Our workers are compassionate, committed, and valued—because when our team loves what they do, our participants thrive.

Independence & Confidence – We empower participants to build skills, make their own choices, and live as
independently as possible.

Connection – We prioritise real, meaningful connections—between participants and support workers, within the
community, and in everyday life.

Thinking Outside the Box – We take a creative, flexible approach to support, always looking for new ways to help
participants achieve their goals.

Keeping It Simple – We believe support should be straightforward and stress-free. No red tape, no unnecessary
complications—just meaningful support made easy so participants can focus on what truly matters
